Metcon Sells Its Largest Magmeter @ 72”

Metcon Sales & Engineering Ltd. has been selected to supply two 72” diameter ABB Magmaster Magnetic Flowmeters for the Duffin Creek WPCP in Durham Region.

These new Magmaster flowmeters will be installed as part of a massive plant expansion and were chosen based on previous high performance at this plant and the unique ability to be certified in-situ to a know standard of accuracy. The ABB Calmaster system was the world’s first in-situ accuracy verification system and has been used by the region to certify the amount of flow from York Region being treated at the plant.

Metcon has a long standing relationship with Duffin Creek and has be providing third party flowmeter accuracy verification (certificate) every year.
