 Junior Inside Support Representative

Based in Concord, Ontario, Metcon Sales & Engineering Ltd. is widely regarded as an industry leader in water & wastewater treatment equipment supply.  A key to our success is our technical Inside Sales group and we are currently seeking a goal oriented, success driven individual to be a part of the team.

Position Concept:

The Inside Support representative sells to existing customers in an assigned geographic territory.  Our Inside Support representatives use the phone, email and the internet to sell Metcon’s products and services.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Sales calls to existing customers within assigned territories
  • Maximize each telephone contact through consistent use of working with Outside Sales Rep.
  • Manage multiple tasks in a proactive and efficient manner
  • Use technology to manage territory, sales and time
  • Work with electrical, mechanical and general contractors
  • Work with municipal water and waste water operators 
  •  

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience preferred 
  • Strong communication and customer relations skills
  • Demonstrate sales aptitude, assertiveness, persistence, good listening skills, and self motivation
  • Able to work independently as well as with in a team
  • Post-secondary education prefered
  • Well organized with effective time and activity management skills
  • Mature and self confident with the ability to work under pressure
  • Computer literacy knowledge - MS Office, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Internet
  • Ability to prioritize work, with attention to detail

Remuneration include: Salary, commission, & benefits
